Located in the heart of Boston, the Columbus Avenue project represents the perfect marriage of historic charm and contemporary precision. This full-gut renovation transformed a traditional brownstone layout into an airy, light-filled residence designed for modern entertaining.

The home centers around a chef’s kitchen featuring a striking Calacatta marble waterfall island and integrated appliances, flowing effortlessly into a formal dining area anchored by custom-lit display cabinetry. We restored the classic architectural envelope—installing herringbone white oak floors in the foyer and preserving the stair rail details—while introducing bold modern statements, such as the jewel-box powder room with deep burgundy walls and a custom-fabricated block marble sink.

Technical highlights include the seamless integration of linear HVAC diffusers, a spa-inspired primary wet room with a floating stone bench, and new acoustically insulated wall paneling in the master suite. The result is a home that feels both grand and incredibly livable.
